Privacy Policy

Who we are
Chirogra is a bookkeeping app for small businesses on iPhone, iPad and Mac. This policy explains what happens to the information you record in it. If you have questions, write to soporte@chirogra.com.
Your books stay with you
- The information you record (company, customers, vendors, invoices, expenses, receipts, journal entries and reports) is stored on your device.
- If you turn on Sync with iCloud, your data travels encrypted to the private database of your iCloud account to reach your other devices. Apple manages that database under its privacy policy; we have no access to it.
- No one at Chirogra can see, read or copy your books.
What we don’t do
- We don’t ask you to create an account or sign in.
- We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don’t share data with third parties.
- We don’t sell information.
Device permissions
- Face ID or Touch ID: if you turn on the lock, the system checks your identity. Chirogra never receives your biometric data.
- Photos and files: only when you choose a photo or PDF (a receipt, your company logo, a W-9). They are stored inside your books.
- Mail: when you send an invoice, Chirogra opens your device’s mail app; you send the message from your own account.
Backups and exports
Backups (.chirogra files), PDFs and CSV files are created by you and saved where you choose. They are
not sent to us.
Subscription and payments
The subscription is purchased and managed through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card or payment details. Apple gives us sales reports that don’t identify you.
Crash reports
If you agree in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports so we can fix bugs. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
Deleting your data
- Deleting the app deletes the data stored on that device.
- You can delete your iCloud data in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Chirogra (on Mac, System Settings › your name › iCloud).
Children
Chirogra is designed for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we add features that change what is described here (for example, connecting your bank), we will update this page before launching them and change the date above.
